Eva von Redecker
Most of my writing is in academic philosophy. I work and teach at the Humboldt University, Berlin, and specialize in Critical Theory. Currently, my foremost concern is to develop a theoretical framework which links various forms of oppression and exploitation with the modern property form.
Philosophical writing is a very slow and thorough trade. It’s a bit like stepping around on the same spot for a very long time, charting every inch, and then digging deeper and deeper. In that way, it’s the opposite of my sweeping, transitory anti-sightseeing essays. Nevertheless, theoretical concepts and the observations I make along the way do mutually inform each other, and you will find that social change, revolution, domination, and various feminist concerns come up in both my genres. My academic publication list can be found here.
